Fry’s Piquant Pie

Make this delicious and nutritious Piquant Pie using Fry’s Vegetarian Spiced Burgers.

 

Ingredients

1 x packet Fry’s Vegetarian Spiced Burgers

1 kg x Potatoes, peeled and cubed

30 g x Butter or margarine

1 x Onion, sliced

150 ml x Chutney

1 tbs x Curry powder

500 g x Canned pie apples

½ cup x Cheddar cheese, grated

Salt and pepper

 

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180C°.

 

Boil potatoes in salted water until soft (approx. 30 min) and mash with butter or margarine.

 

Arrange Fry’s Vegetarian Spiced Burgers in bottom of ovenproof dish. Mix together onions, chutney, curry powder and apples. Season and spread over burgers.

 

Top with mashed potato followed by cheese and cook for 30 minutes. If using HOT chutney, omit curry powder.
